As I now got decals for the first ship, I showing them here too.
Then a pic of both ships.
I did some weathering with Tamiyas panel line wash, Agrax earthshade, silver and diluted pale sand.
I’ll consider both builds done and will post final reveal pics as soon as possible.
Even this one got decals in my little decal session.
I just need to sort one mor small decal on each side, but thought it was best to let the ones I had done dry properly first. Then this one is done!
It took a while for me to sit down and put don decals on this one, but now it’s done!
Next I’ll clear cote it and then start weathering. So not much left now!
I masked and painted red chevron markings, that is common for White scars.
Part of the engine nacelles was painted red and then the engines, guns and some other details was painted with black metal.
Then gold was painted on some details.
The windows was painted.
Next I’ll clear cote it and add markings.
As the decals for the first Gunship was missing, I got a new one and decided to build that one too. At least there is decals enough for several ships on the sheet.
The first one I built was for the traitors as it turned out, so now I’m building one in a loyal scheme.
Building it is quite easy and everything fits very well.
Right before I started painting, I decided to glue the canon as well.
Instead of starting with black primer as usual, I went for grey instead.
I then used beige and ivory as zenithal colours.
On top of that I painted a off white/ivory colour.
Next I’ll ask for the chevron pattern on the nose and probably on the wings.

Even if the kit had some issues and needed constant dry fitting, I quite enjoyed the build, and I’m happy with how it turned out!
I did some weathering on the vehicle. Mostly Tamiya’s mud pigment and some metal scratches made with a sponge.
I also finished Bane’s base with some black, drybrushed with dark grey, and then I added some white stripes and some cracks.
Both together.
Next I’ll take some pics for the final reveal.
After checking pics on the net, I started painting Bane.
Almost all painting is done with Speed Paint colours. I used Vallejo gunmetal to metal parts on his face mask and some other metal parts. I’ll check pics again to see if there are other details I need to paint.
His base also need to be sorted and I’ve put a bit of putty in the middle. I’m not sure what colours I want to have his base. Dirt or tarmac perphaps.
With the panels painted, it’s time to glue some panels.
The roof took a while to get in place correctly as it’s many points that need to fit and lock.
Left to do is sorting some details and touch ups. After that I’ll do some weathering and also Bane need some paint.
Bane is a resin printed figure by the looks of it. Quite nice though. I used one of my spare warhammer bases and glued him on it and painted him black.
Next I’ll do some zenithal primer and dry brushing and I’ll also check pics of him before I start painting him.
Masking the splinter camo took quite some time!
I had to assemble the rocket launcher i order to get the camo right, and I also had to check some of the other panels that had patterns that continued from one to the other.
Once the masking was done, I could lay down some paint.
I also had to paint a few parts that I’ve missed earlier.
After removing the tape the panels looked like this!
I almost forgot to paint the front.
After checking, there was a few spots to touch up. Once that was done I could finally start assembling things again.
Next will be some detail painting and adding more panels and stuff.
